A Look Inside My Search
In a search for answers to the woes in my life, I found God. The truth that lies in knowing God for myself, placed me on a quest for peace. While on this journey, I have discovered that there are others seeking this truth also and that I can help. I have a Doctor of Ministry degree from Catholic Theological Union, not to rise above anyone, but to better serve everyone. I am on a journey towards peace, speaking truth that opens people up to God.

Follow the Leader
Playing "Follow the Leader" was so much fun as a child. You walked around mimicking everything they did and when somebody messed up, you laughed. Playing "Follow the Leader" as an adult is not quite as much fun. First we have to find out who the leader is and where he/she is going. We have to determine if they have the skills to lead and whether or not we can follow where they lead. As we move toward the November 2008 elections for a new US president, many of us are again playing "Follow the Leader." Who will you follow? In the movement towards peace, we must follow the one who leads like Christ, who is concerned with the welfare of the marginalized and the poor, the voiceless and the forgotten. Follow Christ our Leader and you will find Peace.

Movement Disrupted
On our journey, we don't often think of the role others play. We mostly focus on what we need to do to achieve our goal. But this journey towards peace involves a number of people. Some who help us and others who hinder us. The sad part is those who hinder us are usually very close to us and have previously bought into the journey. Somewhere along the way, they drop out and our movement is disrupted. What are we supposed to do now when those close to us get in the way?
It's hard to imagine that God would have it this way, yet it happens, over and over again. Courage. Courage to keep on the path toward Christ's Peace. Courage to walk in that direction even when others do not. Courage to believe that what God has revealed will fuel the journey. Movement disrupted but not stalled.
Do you need help restarting your disrupted movement toward peace? Let's talk about it.
